Diana brings over 30 years of valuable leadership experience to the table. Her corporate journey commenced in International Human Resources (HR) and Reward with Nortel Networks, where she gained recognition as an expert in the EMEA reward community. Subsequently, Diana continued to excel in her role as an HR Reward professional at Centrica Plc, PwC, and later as HR Reward Director at Prudential UK and Europe. Currently, Diana is contributing her expertise at Oxford Brookes University, all while pursuing her professional coaching certificate and working with private clients.
Diana has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and achievement in her various pursuits. Transitioning from the corporate world to undertaking a PhD in Management at the University of Exeter showcased her determination to embrace new challenges. Embracing her role as a full-time Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Warwick marked the beginning of a fulfilling second career in UK Higher Education. Since 2017, she has further flourished as a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.
In her capacity as an academic, Diana plays a key role in shaping the education and development of individuals in the field of people & organizations/human resource management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her involvement in supervising student research projects, including doctoral level studies such as PhD and Doctorate of Coaching and Mentoring, reflects her commitment to nurturing future talent.
Diana is deeply immersed in research, with a particular focus on knowledge management and sharing within Event Studies and among volunteer resources. Her proactive approach is evident through her active participation in research, pursuit of funding, and collaboration with peers to publish valuable findings.
Diana’s academic journey is marked by numerous achievements, including the attainment of a BA (Hons), MA, MSc, and PhD, and the prestigious professional accreditation of Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
Diana’s coaching expertise began to blossom as she delved into formal training through the Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching at Henley Business School. Simultaneously, she engaged in extensive coaching practice to attain accreditation from a professional coaching association.
In her precious moments of leisure, Diana has dedicated an entire decade to volunteering with Girlguiding UK, focusing her efforts on the Guide section. Her true essence shines through as a Coach, Mentor, Professional, Academic, Researcher, Sister, Daughter, Godmother, and Auntie. Her commitment to these roles is an embodiment of unwavering passion and dedication.
